Longing for Belonging

This week I’ve sat alongside those who speak and act like socialists yet vote right wing..folk who rate Tommy Robinson and plan to vote for UKIP at the next election (do they even still exist?!)

They are yearning for a leader to follow, a cause to sign up to and labour has deserted them. When life hasn’t improved in low income neighbourhoods over the last quarter of a century and more, then what else can we expect? How do we get alongside is the question.
