annual report

It’s been customary for us to produce an annual report. We do it to be transparent and also to record the journey in our mission to become a self organising and renovating community.

This year is slightly different. Alongside the annual reporting of the period September 2024 to 31st August 2025, it reflects on the learning journey so far and draws out the practices and conditions that we’ve felt to be important.

They are:

1. The purposeful cultivation of peer and mutual support.
2. The opening up of space for mutual use as places of belonging, creativity, hope and organising.

3.The provision of small sparks funds to enable ideas focussed on primary resources to be acted upon.
4. The creation of an organising group rooted in principles of circular and consensus decision making practices, mutuality and solidarity.
5.The offering of a range of methods to enable democratic and participatory participation and shift from consumer to contributor.
6.Cultivation of, and connection to, wider networks and alliances rooted in self organisation, mutuality and solidarity.
7.System change work to change the flow of resource towards circular and socially trading economies and justice focussed redistribution.
8. Trust based investment held by trusted stewards.

9. Community development support rooted in ABCD.
